Chief Executive Officer

With 26 years of semiconductor experience in executive and general management, marketing, operations, and engineering, Jim’s distinct expertise is in the creation of successful multi-generation embedded processor businesses.  Jim’s startup experience includes SVP of Product Development at ViXS Systems and VP of Product Development at Intrinsity.  His 18 years in executive management, marketing, and operations of Motorola’s microprocessor products included pioneering roles in Motorola’s microprocessor to microcontroller transitions and creation of numerous highly successful product lines and products.  He was most recently at Cirrus Logic, where he played an instrumental role in the turn-around efforts for the firm’s ARM embedded processor and digital video recording platform product lines, contributing significantly to the spin-out of two independent business units.  Jim holds a BSEE from Rice University and an MBA from St. Edward’s University.
