EDN loved Stellaris’s deterministic interrupts and tool support enough to name it one of the "Hot 100 products of 2006", heralding the single MCU as having "enough power to combine functions that users might previously have embedded in a sensor-interface microcontroller and a separate control microcontroller".
Embedded Computing Design selected Luminary Micro’s Stellaris MCUs for their Editor’s Choice awards. Stellaris wowed them with it’s broad range of peripherals – bringing "high-performance 32-bit computing to embedded microcontroller applications at a cost equivalent to legacy 8- and 16-bit devices".
