Do I have to use Keil SW?

Hello,

as I understood the license Keil’s RealView Kit has a 16kB limit.

The contest rules says "and the project software must be developed using Keil's RealView Microcontroller Development Kit".
Does this mean everybody is limited to 16kB code?
Or the people who have a Keil license are the lucky ones!

My preferred choice is the Crossworks tool. I am sure others are very familiar with other sw tools.
Can we not use these tools w/o getting disqualified?

Re:Do I have to use Keil SW?

Is this a question that should go to Ciruit Cellar?

"If you question pertains to contest sample distribution, contest entry and management, please contact Circuit Cellar via email at contest.administrator@circuitcellar.com."

It seems to me like it could be considered a "contest entry and management" question, but maybe not. If they could and do give you an answer, it would be great if you could post it here.

Re:Do I have to use Keil SW?

http://circuitcellar.com/designstellaris2006/devices.html

The contest project must use a device from the Luminary Micro Stellaris MCU product family (any LM3Sxxx device), and the project software must be developed using Keil’s RealView Microcontroller Development Kit.

Re:Do I have to use Keil SW?

I was responding more to the 16K part of the question rather than the development software. Even in the original posting the second part of the question was pretty moot.
