Possible USB and/or LCD/OLED peripherals?

Is LMI thinking about broadining its line by adding devices with high-speed (preferable) or full-speed USB2.0 device controllers to its line of products? What about LCD controllers (not drivers)?

high-speed USB2.0 with built in PHY would be real nice, since not very many companies have chips that support high-speed.

In fact, I would say one is pretty much stuck with Cypress on the lower end...

Thanks,
Mike

Re:Possible USB and/or LCD/OLED peripherals?

Rumor has it that USB is coming very soon. Check this site often over the next couple weeks.

I don't expect to see LCD controllers for this family, but I might be wrong. Their are a lot of specialized LCD controllers but most of them are oriented towards graphics displays on cell phones. If you need a simpler LCD driver (text, possibly with a small number of grpahic symbols), you might look at the ATMEGA3290P. Or maybe look at msp430's in the F4xx series, such as the msp430F449 or msp430F437.
