OLED BitMap Tool

Here's a link to a Microsoft Excel worksheet that calculates the HEX values for the 96x16 OLED on the new eveluation board. Just put a "1" in the cell you want to be on and the color of that cell will change to orange. The HEX values for the columns are calulated at the bottom.

Re:OLED BitMap Tool

Here's a Delphi Win2k program to do the same thing.

Re:OLED BitMap Tool

Hi,

Nice tools!
Makes me feel like a kid again designing those bitmap
fonts :-) Just a small hangup with Delphi version which
complains about missing rtl90.bpl, must be one of those
delphish dlls that somehow is missing from my drive c:
full of “useful” stuff.

Spreadsheet works like a charm!

Re:OLED BitMap Tool

Oops, forgot to link in the runtime packages.

Fixed. Version 1.1 is released.

There are several ways to make the bitmap. Just click and drag to make a square area, or click on a cell and then use the arrow keys to continue writing in any direction. Click on the toolbar button to toggle from write mode to erase mode.

Then click on "calculate" to generate the code.

There's still one bug I'm aware of. There's an extra comma at the end of the array you will need to manually edit out after you copy/paste the generated code. I'll fix that and post another file this weekend.

If you find any other issues (or have suggestions for new features), let me know. I'm going to work on pasting an existing bitmap onto the grid next.

Enjoy,

Capper

Re:OLED BitMap Tool

The Win2k tool works in Wine on Fedora FC5, by the way! Thanks for an excellent tool...---Cliff

Re:OLED BitMap Tool

The WinOLEDMap is really nice. If I had a wish it would be the capability to save the bitmap so it could be recalled and edited.
