Re:problem of flash programmer

Thanks - kindly clarify...

Are you saying that LMI's programmer worked on "that" XP-SP2 PC - and then did NOT work after you "upgraded" from SP2 to SP3? Or are you talking about 2 completely different PCs?

Re:problem of flash programmer

Thank you for reporting this.

Can you provide a few more details on what you mean by it doesn't work? Does the tool startup? Are you getting an error message? Does it hang at some point?

Configuration:
Interface : JTAG FTDI INterface : JTAG Speed : 1000000
Clock Source: Using the Specified Single Ended Source
Value : 6000000
Program:
when programming, the progress bar dosen't move, stop at "Programming...0%",no other error message.

Flash Utilities:
Erase flash : works ok.
Blank check : works ok.

correct.

Re:problem of flash programmer

After an erase and blank check, the uploaded file is not correct? It does not show that the flash is erased. It certainly should given that the blank check passed. Are you using a binary file editor/reader?

A couple of things to try:
-Try reducing the JTAG clock frequency to 100KHz or so.
-Try programming the board using a different PC to verify that it is a problem with the PC and not the board/MCU.
