using flash outside the license restrictions for d

I guess I'd find out soon enough, but something just occurred to me as I'm ondering requesting a full tools license:

1. Though my app will be fairly small, it would make good use of the available flash for data storage at run-time.
I assume that the restricted license doesn't keep my code from accessing the full range of flash - correct?

2. Furthermore, once I start storing run-time data in the flash, will it be safe? I assumed that only the area needed for code would be erased at debug time - true?

3. Where can I look up/set where the code is placed, so that I can place my storage area (how do youy do that in C? Just set a pointer to a raw address?) far enough away from being overrun by the expanding code area?

4. It says in the email about getting a full license that the full license is limited to the duration of the contest. What about the demo license? Is it ours to keep, or is it going to turn into a pumpkin at midnight contest-deadline day?
