Download fails with eval board on XP

I just got my eval board and installed all the drivers just like it says in the quick start and tried to download the hello world program for the first time but it says that the download failed and the DLL is cancelled.

I see there is a related thread to this but no obvious answer to why this should fail right out of the box???

Doh!

I figured it out myself. If you open Hyperterminal (to trace the game's high scores), the download fails. Close hyperterminal and it starts working.

I guess you can't have trace coming out of the VCP and use the debugger at the same time.
