download fail

I am able to run my kit in Windows XP but not in ME
In Windows ME The drivers install for Luminary board A and B but not for the Virtual COM port.

However when I download the drivers from the FTDI site
instead of the one provided with the kit they install two COM Ports

When I try to download the hex file the IDE gives me an error saying " Flash Download failed Target DLL has been cancelled "

Any ideas !

Re:download fail

The drivers we provide use the new CDM (Combined Driver Model) package from FTDI which bundle the D2XX and VCP drivers into one entity. The CDM drivers only support Win2k/XP.

There are some posts from a while back that you can search for that should get things working with WinME. You'll pretty much be downloading both FTDI driver packages separately and modifying the INF files to include the USB information for the evaluation board.

I am using Windows XP.
Board has been working for some time, but stoped,
when I have done som programing for GPIO.
I have traed to programme some pin that is on same port as JTAG, and mybe sadanly I have used this pins also.

Programme that I have downloaded last, works.
But I can not programme board any more.

Are there posibilities to erase flash my self.
I have tried all that I have found on forum, but unsucesfully. (Utility flash etc.)

And now when I try to download the hex file the IDE gives me an error saying " Flash Download failed Target DLL has been cancelled " .

Re:download fail

Dear all,

I have also hit this problem. The board remembers the last programme I sent, but refuses to download anymore and uses the "DLL failed" message. The board clearly still works, and when it is reset, it sends a message to the hyperterminal. Has a solution been found yet?
