asking for help to MODERATOR

i was working with keil and EV-LM3S811.Board has been working for some time,but stoped,when I have done some programing for GPIO.I have tried to programme
some pin that is on same port as JTAG,and mybe suddenly I have used this pins also.

Programme that I have downloaded last, works.But I can not programme board any more.

And now when I try to
download the hex file the IDE gives me an error saying " Flash Download
failed Target DLL has been cancelled ".

Are there any posibilities to erase flash my self. how do I recover the debugging functionality? The LM3S811 data sheet indicates that
" This can be avoided with a software routine that restores JTAG functionality using an
external trigger." However no more details are provided.
i found several post where all faced this problems but no solution given.
i am asking moderator to kindly tell me whether it is possible to solve or
this board becomes useless totally.

Whether or not your board is completely "locked" depends on exactly what you did to it. Which pins did you program? If you're using a revision C device (all '811 evaluation boards have this revision), there is a chance that you'll be able to recover your board as long as you didn't change pin PC0 or PC1. There is an unlocking utility posted at:

thanx a lot for ur reply.well, i am very much sorry for my late response....i was actually out of home.
let me explain...what change i did:
i run the watchdog timer example given with the keil software and i only made one change in the code.i wrote one extra line where i have selected the output mode for the pin2 of port C.i got the utility pack and i m trying and will let u know soon.

I just started working with the Keil IDE on a EV-LM3S828 development board and no longer have access to JTAG programming. I was playing with GPIO on port B at the time. I have was successfull in downloading and running several of the example programs prior to the board locking. The board is now successfully running the last loaded program.

I am receiving the error message "Flash Download
failed Target DLL has been cancelled". When attemping to download

Per the recommendation from the forum, I downloaded and tried to unlock the board using the jtag_unlock utility but receive the error message...

"This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem."

I have tried reinstalling the jtag_unlock application but it will not execute.

Does the jtag_unlock application work with LM3S828?

Can you please provide me with suggestion of how I can re-enable programming on my board?

I have also tried reinstalling the USB drivers and still receive the same message.

There isn't really anything to reinstall since the application is just an executable file. What version of Windows are you running?

I'm running...

Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Version 2002
Service Pack 2

I have tried running from both the command prompt window and by double clicking on the jtag_unlock application. Both do not work.
