Luminary Micro teams up with Japanese tool partners
-Japanese major tool vendors declare the support of Luminary Micro Stellaris® Microcontroller Products-
Austin, TX, USA and Tokyo, Japan - July 24, 2008-Luminary Micro, creators of the world's largest portfolio of ARM® Cortex™-M3-based microcontrollers (MCUs), and ArrowUEC, its distributor in Japan, announced today the availability of support from major tool vendor companies in Japan. This relationship strengthens the support of Stellaris microcontrollers in Japan for customer satisfaction.
As of today, Japanese tool vendors who have committed support for Luminary Micro Stellaris microcontroller products are the following companies.
ARM KK (www.jp.arm.com): Provides general support of the ARM Cortex-M3 architecture.
ANDOR SYSTEM SUPPORT CO.,LTD (www.andor.jp): Provides ARM Cortex-M3 Training course as ARM ATC (Authorized training Center); develops software, boards, and systems; provides Cortex-M3-based JTAG (boundary scan) test systems and consultation.
AXE, Inc. (www.axe-inc.co.jp): Provides Keil C-compiler and debug software tools (MicroDevelopment Toolkit for ARM), and develops software.
IAR Systems K.K. (www.iar.com): Provides IAR C-compiler and debugger software tools (Embedded Workbench for ARM), along with the PowerPAC RTOS, middleware, and JLINK ICE. Also develops software and systems.
Sophia Systems (www.sophia-systems.co.jp): Provides Sophia JTAG-ICE with support for flash memory programming, along with development of software and systems.
Yokogawa Digital Computer Corporation (www.yokogawa-digital.com): Provides advicePRO JTAG-ICE, ARM® RealViewTM compiler and debug software, development of software and systems, and is an authorized training center for the ARM Cortex-M3 training course.
