The LM3S102 is based on the ARM Cortex-M3 controller core, with 8 kB single-cycle flash, 2 kB single-cycle SRAM, low drop-out voltage regulator, brown-out reset and power-on reset controller, two 32-bit or four 16-bit timer modules, watchdog timer, Synchronous Serial Interface (SSI), I2C, one analog comparator, UART, and up to 18 GPIOs.

The LM3S101 is the entry member of the Stellaris microcontroller family.
